About Nancy
Nancy Papa-Ruppert
"It is my goal to share my love of languages by creating an environment where the mystique of learning a foreign language is realized."
Nancy speaks 4 languages - Spanish, French, Italian and English. Her education includes a B.A. in languages from Marquette University, a Master Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas, and an Early Childhood specialty from Alverno College.
She has taught her languages to learners of various ages ranging from children to adults. She also holds a Wisconsin teaching license from Nursery to 6th grade.
She has created her own method of teaching, based on her professional and personal knowledge. The method is based on solid learning theories of language development and practical real world language usage. In addtion she has developed numerous customized curriculums which combine developmentally appropriate practices with foreign language instruction. Nancy began learning languages herself as a young child.
Her book, Say it in Spanish, is accompanied by a disk with activities designed to bring joy and excitement to learning.
